After so many years, being a great lover of Black Sabbath, I even surprise myself that I don't have a dedicated guitar to c# tuning. Tony Iommi has used various tunings throughout his career, but a lot of his best work was created using using C# (down) tuning (including my #1 favorite album, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, or maybe closely tied with the self-titled album) despite so many people that use down tuned guitars with larger gauge strings, he even used smaller gauge strings, possibly out of necessity, due to an accident that messed up two of his finger tips.

If anyone here has tried those $40 Amazon humbucker-sized P90s, let me know how well they work.
