Review Bangkok Airways - Airbus A319 Economy Class Flight from Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur

Tripreports. Airline Trip Report - Bangkok Airways Economy Class Inflight Flight Review. This is an Airline Trip Report of our flight with Bangkok Airways from Koh Samui Airport in Thailand to Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia. The Flight Review covers our arrival at Koh Samui Airport, our check-in for our Bangkok Airways Flight and the Baggage Drop process.

After Checking-in for our flight the viewer is given a view of the departure gate before we move to the "Bangkok Airways Courtesy Corner" (The courtesy corner is a passenger service that offers Bangkok Airways Economy Class passengers complimentary non-alcoholic hot and cold beverages and snacks at the departure gate while waiting for boarding (Bangkok Airways Business Class passengers have their own separate lounge).

Onboard the aircraft, a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319 we discuss the legroom onboard, show the amenities we are given, skim through the inflight magazine and Inflight Duty Free Shopping Catalog. Following a look at the Inflight Magazine and Inflight Duty Free Catalog the Bangkok Airways Inflight Meal Service begins alongside the Inflight Drinks service. We discuss and present the Inflight meals and Inflight drinks that we have chosen. The Inflight meal is a full hot meal and the Inflight drinks service includes alcoholic drinks. The Inflight Meal and Inflight drinks are complimentary. Our descent towards Kuala Lumpur Airport begins just after we have eaten. This Bangkok Airways flight (onboard a Bangkok Airways Airbus A319) does not offer passengers Inflight Entertainment Systems. The flight is so short so it is not even needed.

Our Impressions of Bangkok Airways:
- The cabin crew onboard this flight were warm, friendly and professional.
- For a 1 Hour and 30 Minute flight the meal and drinks service was fantastic. The quality of the meal served was better than many
others we have had on longer flights (flights over 10 hours).
Both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages were complimentary which is a service we always appreciate when flying Short-haul.
- The legroom in the Standard Economy Seat did not seem as much as we had on our inbound Koh Samui flight, onboard a similar Bangkok Airways Airbus A319.
- This airline offers all passengers complimentary light snacks and beverages at the airport gate. Who would not appreciate this excellent passenger service!

Verdict:
We have flown multiple times with Bangkok Airways and every flight has been a positive and memorable experience. We will gladly fly with this airline again and can easily recommend flying with them to fellow travelers. We look forward to our next flight with Bangkok Airways!
