Matthew and Marie Griffin from Lispowel in west kerry decided very early on in 2021 that they would like to do something for a charity unsure of what they were going to do on Easter Sunday 2021 they sat 3 and a half acres of oats in July they make contact with Brendan Ferris from Beaufort County Kerry who has a long tradition of holding his own vintage rallies and raising money for cancer charities throughout Kerry Brendan gladly obliged and landed on which his reaper and binder and the following week came along with his threshing drum and as they say the rest is history all monies raised on the day went towards west kerry community health care
Matthew and Marie already have a plan in place for 2022 watch this space as they say
