If you're gating your content 🔒, you might be also gating your growth🤞.

Instead of treating your content as bait🪝, treat it as a gift 🎁! The fundamental difference is, that bait is more conditional, whereas a gift is unconditional, just like ungated content.

Do you believe in the law of ⚖️ gratitude? If you do, let your content be so valuable that it leaves the reader in debt 🫴 to your contribution and educating 📖 them. Or you can choose to be more transactional with your audience, and ask for form submissions that serve the moment ⏱️.

If you have limited content 🚧 or your content is very expensive, one can look at gating the content, not just that, make sure its value is communicated to your audience, being a reason to fill out the form and access it. But if it's anything about educating your audience, it needs to be ungated 🔓.
