Hello YouTube and today I have an unboxing and review for you of the X-mini MINI 2 portable speaker. I bought this device for when I am away and want an easy, loud and high quality solution for playing music on the go. A couple of my friends had this model so when I saw it for 50% off on Amazon, I had to purchase it. So let’s get inside this plastic tube box. Firstly we have some documentation including an interductory leaflet which tells us what we should have in the package , how to charge and play music using the device. Next we have charity leaflet, followed by a small bag containing our cable which is one of the weird three way kinds. We have mini USB for plugging into the speaker, then a standard USB connection to plug into our computer for charging and an additional 3.5mm jack for plugging into our audio source. Finally the last thing we have in the box is the speaker itself. Build quality is awesome at this price point and I was really impressed. If we take a on the bottom we have our built in 3.5mm jack which we’re going to use to plug into our device. It’s nice that this is built in so you don’t have to carry any additional cables while on the go. By twisting the top away from the bottom we can open up the air cavity inside. This does make a difference to the low frequency performance of the speaker. If we take a look round the side we have our on / off switch. You can see we get an LED light to inform us that the device is active. Moving it round a bit we have our mini USB that we’re going to use for charging the device and finally we have our volume wheel. Performance off thing is awesome and it is really loud. Sound quality is also pretty respectable, you certainly get more of a bass punch when you open up the cavity inside. At high volume the speaker actually vibrates itself around. Overall this is an awesome purchase and I will definetly be keeping it for when I am away from home. That’s all for this video, thanks for watching and I’ll see you in the next one.
