I'll guide you through starting Excel, navigating to the random data generator, and selecting the types of information you want to create. ✅Setting Up the Random Data Generator
To get started with the random data generator in Excel, follow these steps:
1) Open Microsoft Excel
2) Go to File - New
3) Browse for online templates
4) Type "Random" in the search box and press Enter
5) Look for the "Random Data Generator" template (not the student randomizer)
6) Click on the template and select "Create"

✅Customizing Your Random Data
Once you've opened the random data generator template, you can customize the types of information you want to include in your dataset. Here's how:
Choose from a variety of data types, such as:
Date of birth
Company name
Job title
Email address
And many more options
As you select items, a preview will appear on the right side of the screen
Scroll through the preview to ensure you're happy with the selected data types

✅Generating and Copying Data
After customizing your data types, it's time to generate your random dataset:
Specify the number of items you want to generate (between 1 and 1,000)
For this example, we'll generate 1,000 records
1) Once the data is generated, select the entire range:
2) Click anywhere in the data
3) Press Ctrl+A to select all data in the current range
4) Copy the selected data (Ctrl+C)

✅To finalize your random dataset and prepare it for use:
1) Create a new worksheet or open a new file
2) Paste the copied data using "Paste Values" to ensure only the data is transferred
3) Verify that you have the correct number of records (1,000 rows plus a header row)
