Queen Nzingha, also known as Queen Ann Nzingha, was a remarkable woman who defied societal norms and became one of the most powerful rulers in African history. Born in 1583 in the Kingdom of Ndongo, present-day Angola, she was a natural leader from a young age, displaying intelligence, strength, and tenacity that would prove crucial to her reign.
