Embracing Fear As An Artist - learning how to let go & step into the unknown✨ 🎨📚

Happy Friday, friends!
As we continue in the month of January & the newness of a new year, I wanted to take some time and chat about something I have been working on in my own life both personally and in regards to my art journey. Fear plays a big role in how I approach life in general and it is something I want to change how I react to it. The book 'My Friend Fear - Finding Magic in the Unknown' by Meera Lee Patel has been a transformative book for me in this area and I wanted to share some thoughts I have been working through lately. I also recently discovered the lovely artist @ema_malyauka on instagram and have started her course, Sketchbook Techniques for Children's Illustration on Domestika! Her fearlessness when it comes to sketchbooks is so incredibly inspiring and has really helped me get started on this journey of embracing fear and jumping into my sketchbooks!
