Mike Krzyzewski took over the Duke Men’s Basketball program in 1980, just two years after they had gone to the NCAA Championship game in 1978. Since then, the Blue Devils have gone to 12 Final Fours and won 5 NCAA Championships. Dozens of Coach K’s Blue Devils players have gone on to play in the NBA. In this episode of Legacy: Coach K – The 1980’s, former Duke players Jay Bilas, Johnny Dawkins and Alaa Abdelnaby join Kenny Dennard to talk about Coach K and the decade of the 80’s at Duke Basketball.
