Looking forward to Accurascale’s 66

Hello

As per usual there’s not been much going on here at Colwich, due to work & life commitments elsewhere.

Inspiration has been drawn from some recent posts mainly over on Instagram of Accurascale’s latest release, 66001 in EWS livery.
Shout out to ‪@DudleyCentral‬ who has an impressive fleet of EWS locos. Although my main focus here is DRS I have quite a bit of the former mentioned operators stock & the odd loco knocking about now 58/66 (& 31 on preorder).
On seeing Accurascale’s 66 doing the rounds I thought it was about time to take another look at the late Hattons offering & I’d kind of forgot what an absolutely stunning model it was & still is!
66088 was briefly put to work ahead of the partially finished MGR rake & I think it looks the part.
As mentioned in the audio I only have one Accurascale model on preorder - in DRS
I’m really looking forward to this model arriving & I’m sure the good folk at Accurascale will have improved what was a flawed first attempt by Hattons.
