Inspired by my previous uses of curse dusclops I decided to build a team around sweeping with it. This isn't meant to be a serious team. I just need to lose this streak so I can start a different challenge run, but I don't just want to forfeit this streak. Curse is a really powerful move. The only thing that can stop it is substitute. How do we avoid being stopped by substitute? We just outspeed them. I might bring a curse gengar at some point because that could outspeed all substitute users without requiring any boosts. Gengar isn't that tanky so I'm not sure what a good set and team would be for it.

Edit: I think that skill swap does work against substitutes so that could be a way to deal with cradily. Blissey can learn skill swap. Gengar with skill swap curse is also an option although that sounds very frail and perish song might also be better for gengar. This would allow me to whirlwind out cradily who otherwise blocks it with suction cups. If cradily shows up as first or even second pokemon there's a big chance it sets up a substitute before I can curse or toxic it. Then I have to break the substitute with struggle which would be bad because I might need my moves to deal with the pokemon in the back.

No item so you can steal your opponent's item on turn 1. Aerial ace is to break substitute. To defeat the zapdos with substitute you have to switch into dusclops and pp stall it which isn't ideal. Protect might be better instead of rest so you can scout movesets. Also allows you to stall a thunderbolt pp against zapdos 3.

With 44 speed EVs you can outspeed every unboosted pokemon when you're at +6. You need 52 EVs to do the same at lvl 100. It's probably better to invest in spdef to stall out zapdos 3. def is nice against struggle.
