JAHANGIR – NUR-UD-DIN MUHAMMAD SALIM (1605-1627)
- The fourth Mughal Emperor, who ruled from 1605 until his death in 1627
- Eldest son of Akbar.
- Soon after his succession his eldest son Khusrau rebelled against him. However Jahangir defeated his 1606 in a Battle near Lahore.

ZANJIR-I-ADL:-
- He is known for his strict administration of Justice.
- He established Zajir-i-Adal (Chain of Justice) at Agra Fort.
