IT'S REAL!!! It was rumoured all those months ago but Resident Evil 4 VR / Resident Evil 4 Oculus Quest 2 version has just been announced with a brand new Resident Evil 4 VR trailer at todays 25th anniversary showcase. The trailer shows a brand new Resident Evil 4 first person perspective, the ability to throw and catch guns & weapons, typing on type writers and a whole host of awesome VR features. A Resident Evil 4 Quest 2 version is a HUGE win for VR and a massive win for Oculus in terms of exclusivity (the gameplay was captured on PC according to the trailer but there was no mention of other versions, only the Resident Evil 4 Oculus Quest version was named).

Resident Evil 4 is still probably my very favourite Resident Evil game and to see it brought into VR is a dream come true, this has been at the top of my Oculus Quest games wishlist since the Capcom leak and to have it finally confirmed is an absolute win. More Resident Evil 4 VR gameplay will be shown at the Oculus event next week (April 21st) so stay tuned for more coverage here on the channel, I'll definitely be doing a full Resident Evil 4 VR playthrough when the game launches (hopefully later this year).

No official Resident Evil 4 VR release date / Resident Evil 4 Oculus Quest release date was given but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for sometime this year, especially considering this is the 25th anniversary of Resident Evil.
