Barzakh - Massir - مصير [Official Video]

The Chapter 1

"مصير" حكاية انسان عمره ما سلّم. رغم الجوع و الفقر في صغره. رغم شقا لمّيمة و فراق البو. كان يحلم باش يوصل. سلاحه كتاب و حلمة هاززهم و هازّينه.
أمّه ربّاته عالعزّة و المحبّة و ما خلاّت في قلب ولدها حتى باب للنقمة. كانت تخدم قد ميات راجل باش ولدها إكمّل يقرى و يبقى ديما عزيز و ما يطلب من حدّ.
هكّا قلوب الحقّ. ما ترخّش، ما تميحش، ما تملّش. ديما القدّام، لين توصل. و هيّ حلمتها لي ولدها  يوصل للّي ما وصلتلوش.
و "مصير" غناية هديّة لكلّ قلب حقاني، قعد  شادد صحيح في حلمته، في مبادءه. لا بدّل، لا تبدّل. و حتّى كي ظلّ الطريق،  كان ديما يرجع، أحسن و أقوى.

"Massir" is the 5th title of the 2nd Album of Barzakh entitled "bled il 3imien" (the blindtown)

Massir represents the beginning of songs' series around the epic story of a young boy who, having lost his father for some unknown reason, will go through several stages of his life. Previous released songs like "mennar" (From fire), "ardh"  (The land)  are stages of his learning.
In "Massir" lyrics there's a strong image of the fighting and resilient mother, doing everything to ensure that her son does not miss a thing. 
The son, the hero of the songs series, is committed to studies as they are the only exit door from poverty and adversity.

But “Massir” is, above all, a tribute to people who fight every day for an ideal.  Whether their struggles are big or small, these people do not flinch.  They remain standing despite everything, true to their values till the last breath

The story of this child is ultimately a strong representation of what many children from rural areas and from low-income backgrounds experience who, despite all the obstacles, succeed to overcome them in one way or another.

"Write on those people who stand,
Against devastating winds, till the end,
And never crawl,
Even when the injustice rules the land,
True hearts never fall...)
