In this podcast style video, Slayerage and myself will talk about the hard mode King’s Fall, the bosses, strategies and a little more. The background footage is just a hard mode King’s Fall run, so if you just want to listen, that is totally an option.

In response to Slayerage’s counter to my and Holtzmann’s suggestions for the one orb strat, the pools would have to have a physical change to them. If a team were to knock down all of the orbs just so they didn’t have to deal with the health regen or tablet of ruin, there would need to be a way for the game to realize that those pools were not used. This could be done by possibly having the pools shrink in size as they are used up, the pools could place a buff on players and if they didn’t have 5-6 pools worth of buff on them, then the healing/tablet rules would apply. This is an incredibly simple way of the describing it, but I would imagine would be very difficult to program and work consistently. The fact that Slayer thought of a counter so quickly really speaks to his raid IQ. Him and his team have very high raid IQs, which I feel is a very rare trait to have if you were never an MMO player (and even if you were, it’s still rare).
