Bala Chaturdashi is a famous festival of Nepal. Bala Chaturdashi festival is also known as Aunshi in Nepali language.This festival of Nepal, the festival of Bala Chaturdashi, is seen in Sleshmantak forest, a sacred place of Nepal near the Pashupatinath temple. Sleshmantak Backwoods is located near the most famous sanctuary, Pashupatinath Temple.The Sleshmantak Timberland is located on the opposite side of the Bagmati waterway to the World Heritage Site Pashupatinath Temple. Bala Chaturdashi Festival Marg falls on Krishna Chaturdashi. It falls in late October or early November in Nepal. On the occasion of this Bala Chaturdashi, large crowds from different places of Nepal gather on the banks of the waterway of Bagmati. In addition to the lovers of the Nepalese region, a crowd of Hindus from South Asian countries including India and Bangladesh gather on the banks of the waterway of the holy river Bagmati of Pashupatinath. Pashupatinath Temple is the holiest temple of Hindu Lord Shiva and one of the famous world heritage destinations of Nepal. This temple is located on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal.


Bala Chaturdashi Brata / Sowing Shatbij.

On this day, Bala Chaturdashi festival is celebrated by donating lamps in the name of ancestors. In various temples, after staying awake the previous day, chanting bhajans and lighting the lamp, it is customary to sow Shatbeez (Sapta Bij) this morning.

People who follow Hinduism sow hundreds of seeds for the salvation of their deceased ancestors and for those who died in any accident or prematurely to go to heaven or hell easily.

Rice, wheat, meat, peanuts, kagun, weed seeds, lemons, limes, oranges, apples, sugarcane, mangoes, bananas, sesame seeds, chickpeas, corn etc.
