Creativity, innovation, and adaptability are among the most important business skills today. And luckily we are all born as creative geniuses – creativity is our birthright! So why do we find innovation so difficult? Why do 95% of product innovations fail and why are leaders dissatisfied with their innovation programs at roughly the same levels?

It’s mainly because most of us have traded our innate flexibility and adaptability for safety and security in our identity – who we see ourselves as. We have become attached, even addicted, to our opinions, approaches, values, and perspectives. As great as we humans are at creative thinking, we are at least as good at judging things and getting stuck in those judgments forever.

And that is why Michael Lee points out in this talk that the most important innovation you can ever make is to innovate yourself. Only then can you consistently and successfully innovate in your product, project, team, or company. Creativity is really thinking differently from YOURSELF and innovation is acting differently from yourself. Learn how to begin letting go of your addiction to your view of who you are in this transformative presentation. Michael Lee is an international expert in the mindset of creativity and innovation and has been involved in education for a number of years. With more than two decades of experience as a writer, script editor, director, and producer in the film and TV industry across the US, Europe and Africa.
