SPR Gurgaon's Redevelopment Update - Gateway Between Dwarka Expressway and Faridabad
The Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) in Gurgaon is being redeveloped with includes of eight flyovers, cycle tracks, and footpaths.
The redevelopment of SPR[Southern Peripheral Road] includes a six-lane main road, a six-lane service road,3m wide footpaths and 2.5m wide cycle track on both side.
It’s a 16 km long, six-lane road that connects the Golf Course Extension Road to the National Highway 8[NH 48] which is expected to be completed by the mid-2025.
It also a possibility of building an elevated structure between Vatika Chowk and NH 48 to provide smooth and better connectivity between DWARKA EXPRESSWAY and DELHI-MUMBAI EXPRESSWAY.
The traffic load on SPR is expected to increase further once it has connected with Dwarka expressway and NH 48 to GHATA village Faridabad.
If we talk about Real estate business on SPR, the Real estate sector have seen a massive boom with many residential societies which are falling under the affordable and mid-range segments.
It is also very famous & popular location for commercial buildings, shopping malls etc.
Finally, the SPR is an important infrastructural project that helped to improve the connectivity of the city to the rest of the state.
Additionally, it will give Faridabad a strong connectivity via Gurgaon-Faridabad highway.
