Way back in the 70s, television variety shows were all over the place. As a kid, I absolutely loved these shows which combined music, comedy and fun. However, with the dawn of the 80s, this type of TV show had almost completely disappeared. I didn’t think much about it then…but, as an adult, I’ve often thought back and wondered what the heck happened?
