President Rodrigo Roa Duterte talked to the officers and personnel of the Police Regional Office - Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PRO-ARMM) at Camp BGen Salipada K. Pendatun in Parang, Maguindanao.

Before his talk, the President was given a situation briefing by P/C Supt. Reuben Theodore Sindac, Regional Director of PRO-ARMM.

During the event, President Duterte awarded the ‘Medalya ng Kagalingan’ to five (5) Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel. The awardees included Deputy Regional Director for Operations of PRO-ARMM P/S Supt. Rolando Barajan Anduyan, Acting Chief of Regional Public Safety Battalion P/S Supt. Marlon Alanzalon Tayaba, Provincial Director of Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office P/S Supt. Oscar Pontinio Nantes, OIC of the Regional Intelligence Division P/Supt. Danilo Alamban Bacas, and Chief of Regional Special Operations Group-ARMM PCI Alexie Alcaide Desamito.

The Commander in Chief also handed over 76 certificates of completion received by P/Supt. Christopher Dela Cruz, President of the PRO-ARMM Motorcycle Riding Course Class 10-2017.

In his message, President Duterte gave his assurance to the PRO-ARMM officers and personnel, saying, “I just want you fully equipped with the frame of mind and komportable ka kung sakali, kung sakali lang lahat naman talaga mamamatay. Kung sakali mawala ka, ang pamilya mo may tumitingin, ang gobyerno mismo at utang ng gobyerno yan sa iyo. So that is my promise to you, by the time I will leave the Presidency I would have invested so many billions for the trust fund for your children and family.”

“I can assure you, I have nothing but the best for all of you,” the President ended.
