The Volvo V60 is a five-door wagon produced by Volvo Cars based on the S60 compact luxury sedan. This vehicle was released in 2011 and redesigned for the 2014 model year. This vehicle was only sold in the European market until 2014, when it was released into the North American market. For 2014, a raised variant of the vehicle was released, known as the V60 Cross Country. The car is meant to compete with the newly redesigned Audi allroad quattro. In early October 2015, Volvo released the V60 Cross Country around the world.[5][6] Second generation is set to join the Volvo line-up in 2018.

Matchbox is a popular toy brand which was introduced by Lesney Products in 1953, and is now owned by Mattel, Inc. The brand was named as the original die-cast Matchbox toys, which were sold in boxes similar in style and size to those in which matches were sold. Subsequently, the brand would encompass a broad range of toys including larger scale die-cast models and various non die-cast lines such as plastic model kits and action figures.

During the 1980s, Matchbox started to switch to the more conventional plastic and cardboard "blister packs", that were used by other die cast toy brands such as Hot Wheels. The box style packaging was re-introduced for the collectors' market in recent years, particularly with the release of the "35th Anniversary of Superfast" series in 2004.

Hot Wheels is a brand of 1:64, 1:43, 1:18 and 1:50 scale die-cast toy cars introduced by American toy maker Mattel in 1968. It was the primary competitor of Matchbox until 1997 when Mattel bought Tyco Toys, then-owner of Matchbox. Many automobile manufacturers have licensed Hot Wheels to make scale models of their cars, allowing the use of original design blueprints and detailing. Although Hot Wheels were originally intended for children and young adults, they have become popular with adult collectors, for whom limited edition models are now made available.

2016 lineup was similar to 2015 and 2014 in terms of segments, and the design of the card was overhauled. Some car names were TBD (To Be Done) or 2016 (coming Soon). They're now divided into 30 segments with their corresponding segments and their icons printed on the card. Some of them include: HW Showroom, BMW (100th anniversary of BMW), HW Screen Time (Cars and characters seen on TV, Video Games, and movies), and HW Snow Stormers. New models include: Cruise Bruiser, Side Ripper, and Grass Chomper, '16 Acura NSX, while other models first see their release in the mainline series, such as the '52 Hudson Hornet.
