Glacier Discovery by Helicopter

This video is of my Glacier Discovery tour by Temsco Helicopters in Skagway, Alaska. We left all traces of civilization behind us and experienced the infinite beauty of Alaskas remote glaciers. We lifted off from the historic Skagway waterfront and headed into a rugged region of sheer mountains, majestic valleys and massive glaciers. Our landing site was the spectacular river of ice known as the Meade Glacier. After stepping off the helicopter onto Meade Glacier we were able walk around and peer into deep crevasses. After 40 minutes on the ice our helicopters returned to take us back to Skagway. Our return journey took us across Meade Glacier and then down the Lynn Canal before landing back at the Skagway waterfront.
