Saz Semâî is an instrumental form in Ottoman Classical music. It was the closing piece of a fasıl (a collection of pieces / suite). The Saz Semâî consists of different parts: teslim (refrain) and hâne (lit. house). The parts are usually in 10/8 (aksak semâî) and the last hâne has mostly a different time signature. Nihâvend is a makam used in Turkish Classical Music. Reşat Aysu (1910-1999) was a turkish composer and violinist.
