NICE Bus n6X Bus Ride: 2017 New Flyer XN60 1969 from Jamaica to Hempstead

Footage of an onboard ride on 2017 New Flyer XN60 1969 operating on the n6X from Merrick Boulevard & 89th Avenue in Jamaica, to Jackson Street outside Hempstead Transit Center. The n6X is the only route in the NICE system which regularly uses articulated buses. NICE Bus currently has five buses for use on the Hempstead Turnpike route. There are plans for more buses, however they are not definitive. Since both Jamaica Bus Terminal and Hempstead Transit Center cannot handle artics safely, buses have to terminate in locations outside each terminal.
