सीता की समाधि (सीतामढ़ी) - Sita Samahit Sthal - On 29th April 2017 - ETV Bihar Jharkhand

सीता समाहित स्थल (सीतामढ़ी) मंदिर संत रविदास नगर जिला में स्थित है। यह मंदिर इलाहबाद और वाराणसी के मध्य स्थित जंगीगंज बाज़ार से ११ किलोमीटर दूर गंगा के किनारे स्थित है। मान्यता है की इस स्थान पर माँ सीता से अपने आप को धरती में समाहित कर लिया था। यहाँ पर हनुमानजी की ११० फीट ऊँची मूर्ति है जिसे विश्व की सबसे बड़ी हनुमान जी की मूर्ति होने का गौरव प्राप्त है। स्वामी जितेंद्रानंद जी के असीम प्रयास से और श्री प्रकाश नारायण पुंज की मदद से ये स्थान पर्यटक स्थल के रूप में उभर कर आया है।

In Indian tradition, Sitamarhi has got huge importance, because it was here that Lord Rama’s wife Maa Sita ji was abandoned gave birth to Luv & Kush and descend into the lap of Mother Earth forever. The only presented Valmiki Ashram on the banks of the river Ganges is located here. Sitamarhi thus carry deep religious values and significance and is considered a holy ‘Teerth’ like Prayagraj & Kashi. Today, here stands a wonderful and attractive Shree Sita Samahit Temple visited by thousands of pilgrims everyday with deep faith and reverence.
