Hi everyone! Welcome or welcome back — my name is Justin and this is Dad Discovers.

In this video, I react to a short American news segment that explains Canada’s Highway of Heroes — a stretch of Highway 401 in Ontario where thousands of Canadians gathered on overpasses to honor fallen soldiers returning home.

I’ve had this video requested many times in the comments, especially after covering Operation Yellow Ribbon. Many of you said Americans need to understand what Canada has done — and continues to do — in moments of sacrifice and unity.

The respect shown along the Highway of Heroes is deeply moving. This wasn’t organized by the government. It wasn’t mandated. Canadians simply showed up.
