This 1939 year old gem motion picture theater located on historic main street in Tooele, Utah is home to many memories from yesteryear. 1939-2023

When the marquee is dark and all the movie goers have vacated the 500 seat theater, many believe that some guests never leave and have been there for many years, as if lost roaming the isles and wandering throughout the showroom and lobby. Customers, staff and locals all BELIEVE they have experienced something paranormal here.

The Ritz Theater holds a special place in many peoples hearts for several reasons and was one of Utah's last classic movie Theaters. Sadly The Ritz closed it's doors and went dark in summer 2023.
