Installing LEDs & replace fluorescent lights in drop ceiling troffer. I ordered these "Commercial Electric LED" lights from Home Depot - watch the video for more on that experience.
I also replace several fixtures in my garage and have better lighting.... and show the tools you will need and also additional materials/items you may need.
In this video I replace the fluorescent lights in my basement - which have been beginning to fail. After trying to replace the bulbs and finding a bad ballast I decided it was time to upgrade.
The modern LEDs use much less power than the fluorescents and don't put out as much heat. The light dispersion is much better and brighter also.
