Heather Atherton is a PR and media relations veteran with around 30 years’ experience. She spent over a decade working with an IMAX Corporation–owned theatre, helping re-launch Hollywood films in the IMAX format, and has spent the last decade working closely with indie filmmakers on festival, theatrical, and streaming releases. She served on the board of the Cordillera International Film Festival for seven years and has led campaigns for projects like No Address, using PR to build movements around cause-driven films from script through distribution.
