Mikie (2024) - Atari XL/XE

Описание к видео Mikie (2024) - Atari XL/XE

And we have another gem from an era on Atari that we haven't been able to experience for years. When, in the second half of the 1980s, a short description of the game "Mikie" appeared in Bajtek (number 3 from 1988), Atari players were sad to read that this interesting adventure of Mikie at school was only available on ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad. In the "rotten West", as everything west, north and south of the DDR was then called, there was no tribute to the 8-bit Atari, so after almost 40 years the "Atari" decided to make this game themselves. And they did.
The main author of this version of the game is Krzysztof "Vega" Góra, who used the code from BBC Micro, significantly improving it and equipping it with much better graphics and music than the original.
The object of the game is to guide a student named Mikie around the school locations to collect hearts which make up a letter from his girlfriend while being chased by members of the school staff.
