Here are a few thoughts

📌 You need capacity for greatness; it doesn't happen by chance. God never called you to live a small life. There is something bigger than all your needs being met. There is more to your life (Galatians 3:8–9, Genesis 12:1-2, Isaiah 51:1-2).

📌 Nobody ever steps into greatness without taking radical steps. God gives you a word, but you can disqualify yourself from stepping into the fulfilment of the word with your thoughts. You choose the life you want; God does not impose this on you.

📌 The essence of greatness is influence; that is the reason God needs you to be big. You can't change many things if you don't have a level of influence.

📌 If your heart is for building the kingdom of God, you need to go after greatness, and greatness commands influence. So, to live a small life is to be selfish. God wants you big for His kingdom.

Note these 5 key principles from Luke 5:1–8:

📍 God is extravagant with everything that He does (Ephesians 3:20).

📍 You have to be willing to act on your belief while ignoring your unbelief (Luke 5:5).

📍 Nothing great is found in shallow waters. The courage to launch into deep waters is always rewarded with an unprecedented catch (Luke 5:3–4, Genesis 12:1).

📍 If you are launching into the deep and stepping into great things, you will have to do it alone. You have to deliver yourself from "Approval Addiction"; the need to be constantly validated by men (Luke 5:4).

📍 It's after you move in radical faith that the enabling grace of God steps in. Grace follows your movement. You can't sit in the boat and hope that something will happen.
