No straight lines allowed - Appleslice v2 & kujira 1095

Dialling in the kujira 1095 - this foil is so smooth through turns that I just can't stop carving it up. It's seriously amazing for downwinding as its got so much glide, but as you can see in the video it also performs really well carving around on small swell.
The Appleslice v2 wingfoil board (4'9" x 22.5" x 60ltrs) from Appletree surboards is the perfect match for the fast high aspect foils like the kujira 1095 and the Axis ART series as the hull is flat all the way to the back of the board so it really helps to get the speed you need to get onto foil quickly and easily. The rail and nose shape don't stick or redirect you when you touch the water by mistake. When using the kujiras with the Appleslice v2 I use a wedge/shim at the front of the mast plate to angle the nose of the board up a bit to get a more forgiving angle.
