Jesus Loves me, this I know,
Not because He whispers, so,
Not from gold dust in the air,
Not from contemplative prayer

Jesus never promised me
Health, wealth, or prosperity,
Tours of heaven, visions, dreams,
Just that my soul He’d redeem

Jesus bled and died for me,
No need to declare, decree,
I don’t need my leg lengthened,
In the cross, I’m forgiven. 

Jesus loves the church today,
But she often goes astray,
“Name it, claim it,” “God told me,”
“Apostles” with false prophecies.

Where’s the Bible gone these days?
Stop these foolish, pagan ways,
If we truly love the Lord,
We’ll obey his holy Word. 

Christ has spoken in His Word,
We won’t grow through deeds absurd,
Want to know and honor God?
Bring back Sola Scriptura! 

Yes, Jesus loves me,

The BIBLE tells me so!
