The believer in Christ is the true circumcision who worships God in the Spirit and as such, should rejoice in Christ Jesus and give no room to the flesh. The work of our redemption was done and perfected in the spirit, so we should put our minds on these spiritual realities and this will imbue us with more joy. Our sacrifice of praise must continually be first about the work God did for us in Christ. This way we don't run out of any reason to give thanks. The grace of God is why we give thanks continually. God did the work for us and perfected it in Christ. Glory to His name, forever.
