How to make a Carbon Fiber Gokart Rim Part 1 | The Mould

In this video-series i wanna show you how i make an Carbon Fiber Rim from an Aluminium Template.
I try to explain and show it as easy as possible. If you have any suggestions for improvement. Please let me know.
In this first Part i show you the mould and how i later on lay the Prepreg.

Tools and Materials i used:
Mould is from EN AW 7075 Aluminium
Prepreg used:
XC110 416g 2x2 Twill 6k Prepreg Carbon Fibre

I only used 416g Prepreg to get faster thicker layers. Please consider thicker Prepreg is harder to lay around corners.

I just wanna list all the Materials and Tools i used. I don´t get any money or other benefits from this video. I worked with this Tools because i like them and can recommend it as a friend. If you use other Suppliers thats no Problem. It also depends where you live on which Supplier you can get your Tools.
