The court denied Christopher Jameson's appeal against his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The firearm was found during a traffic stop where Mr. Jameson was a passenger in the car. Other items, including a bayonet, were found in the car. Evidence of Mr. Jameson's involvement in a car theft was excluded from trial. The defense argued that the evidence connecting Mr. Jameson to the firearm was insufficient and that a mistrial should have been declared based on testimony about the bayonet.
