Hey everyone!

My team and I at Wat.AI have been working on a free plugin to help search through footage using natural language. The idea is that you describe a specific moment in your clips, and it locates top matches from your media pool, down to the timestamp without needing to look for it manually.

It’s currently a work in progress, but we have a technical demo that showcases the search engine's capabilities. This is to simulate your media pool and give you an idea of the user experience. It's a python app so it will also work in the free version of Resolve.

The project is fully open source. I’d love for anyone to try the demo for themselves. If you do, please leave some feedback using the Typeform; it really helps out!

We plan on adding other features like audio based search, facial recognition and name based search (like the Photos app on iphone), and smart b-roll generation!
