The ability to attack the short ball with your forehand is essential at higher levels. Without this shot, you are forced to stay back and grind it out waiting for your opponent to make a mistake.

It’s a shot that seems like it should be easy, but in reality a lot of players struggle with it. One of the key reasons why players struggle is not using the appropriate foot work. In this video I explain 2 different short forehand footwork patterns and the keys to making them work for you.
