*flash warning
I enjoyed making my Close to Gray English cover so I decided to make one for Snooze by Wotaku! Snooze is such a creative song, and I haven't had the chance to try out SynthV's rap feature so this was a great opportunity to experiment with it a little. I also love the music video for Snooze, and although it was hard to recreate, it was a fun learning experience. Enjoy!

Original: Wotaku

Music and Video: Hapcyon (made using Garageband and Capcut)
Vocals: Mai (Synthesizer V)

Lyrics:
High on a tainted cadence
so why don't we just abandon all the things that you hate
Throw the justice you say away
though you know that no one wants to watch
your boring show

Curse the dark matter in this place
ugh why can't I let this era I woke up in be replaced
All of this pain came from your face
oh oops silly me forgot to bring an umbrella today
No, I'm not intrigued by these topics
“Sin to wrongful salvations”
“Harm to those who make their own nations”
Hear the sound of the skull that's shattering through the helmet
but the signs of dawn are still clouded
and we sink back into the scent of gas

Fighting back with a may day
Oh I wanna just abandon all the things that I hate
Ice cream sounds good today
but it seems I forgot to bring my wallet so you pay
As if this is poker without betting
War was boring long ago
in the end we're scared of those who know
Essence in a glass cage seen through reflections
It’s time we know what future is chosen
and who's gonna be sacrificed for perfection

Arrogant birdies won't be free
Watch it plead in its deep misery
Can't succumb to a noble death as eternal shackles tighten it's forced to nestle up vainly
Cities turned into molten sea
Gospel pierced through the heart insanely
Catastrophe too far away for the stars to be fazed so they stay above tainted seas still sparkling
