Even More Slinky Undies! Making a 1930s Bias Cut Slip to add to my Vintage Underwear Collection

Описание к видео Even More Slinky Undies! Making a 1930s Bias Cut Slip to add to my Vintage Underwear Collection

My 1930s obsession continues. In this video I make the next addition to my 1930s vintage underwear collection, a bias cut slip.

I used the same pattern as for my 1950s slip, Simplicity 4126 and just modified it for a more 1930s silhouette.

You can watch the 1950s version here:    • Making a 1950s Slip Dress from a Vint...

Join me as I tackle bias cut seams (tricky), sewing machine meltdowns (tragic), and my first EVER machine rolled hem (fine).

This project took several months and the video took even longer to edit. That's why I've got long hair throughout. When I say it took me months it literally took months.
