Cyclone Mocha Hits Bangladesh, Myanmar | IMD Issues Orange Alert

"Extremely severe" Cyclone Mocha has landed over Myanmar-Bangladesh coasts. With winds up to 250 kmph, the cyclone has destroyed 90 per cent of the western Rakhine state's capital city Sittwe.
According to the U.N. humanitarian office, 1.2 million people have been displaced, including Bangladesh. Due to the Cyclone Mocha, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued orange alert for heavy rainfall in parts of northeast India, including, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur and Nagaland.
