To mark 25 years of the Ford Mondeo, I take a really early 1.6 Base for a test drive. Marvel at the manual windows, be thrilled by its fancy GLX wheel trims and join me in frustration at really poor windscreen wiper design. This test has it all.

Naturally, it doesn't have skilful editing, marvellous camera work or anything approaching a script. Standard fare for HubNut!

Many thanks to 'Egg' for letting be borrow this peachy, 59,000-mile car. Wipers aside, it's really rather lovely.
