The 100-Player Pirate Megagame: Blood and Thunder

"What is this?" - This video is an attempt to tell the "story" of some of the things that happened in the 'Blood and Thunder' megagame ran by Jim Wallman for the Megagame Makers in London in June 2018.

"What is 'Blood and Thunder?" - 'Blood and Thunder' is a megagame about pirates in the 18th Century. Most players represent the various parts of a pirate crew, including captains, quartermasters, sailing masters etc. Other players take on characters on the island of San Serif and its town of Freeport - tavern owners, merchants, soldiers and other key elements of the pirate trade.

'Blood and Thunder' was designed by Jim Wallman.
