Think of someone you would consider an expert in their particular field of study. And then think of how often they quote from the textbooks that they learned their specific profession from. It rarely happens right? Yet they are still who you would consider one of (if not) the best at what they do!

It is with this thought in mind that brings about the main idea for this year's Bible journey. For don't you think GOD would rather us be doing/living what HE says, rather than simply having an arsenal of mere quotes at the ready to fire off? Not that an ability to be able to draw upon what HE says isn't valuable. But as an other expert in their given profession, the objective for any given text is to absorb the lessons by learning to put them into daily practice.
