Chhattisgarh was formed in the year of 2000. After 20 years of its formation only raipur has seen development. Some development took place in durg and Rajnandgao but Northern Chhattisgarh specially Bilaspur and it’s nearby places are completely ignored.
All major institutions like IIIT, NIT, IIM,AIIMS, National law college, transport research institute are given to raipur. IIT is also built very near to raipur (in bhilai). International cricket stadium, international swimming pool, international hockey ground is also built in Raipur. Now government is developing raipur airport to a next level but doing politics with other airports in Chhattisgarh special Bilaspur airport. At the time of Ajit jogi we had witnessed some equal development in hole Chhattisgarh. After that Raman singh became cm of Chhattisgarh and he give everything to raipur. Now Bhupesh Baghel is also doing same as Raman singh. Chhattisgarh was separated from Madhya Pradesh to develop this region but now develop is there on raipur only.
