STORYLINE
Note: "Jamie Rogers" does not exist in the Marvel comics, but there is a "James Rogers". Due to the clips I saw from the Gifted movie trailer, I made it a girl and got creative.

PROLOGUE: Steve and Natasha have been working on missions together their whole lives and after Natasha opens up to him about her forbidden dreams, Steve suggests a secret double life to fulfill them. He wanted a family too. They had Jamie.

Years later, they no longer want to hold on to their secret. They wanted to focus on their daughter. Steve and Natasha come clean to discuss their retirement with the government. Agreeing to a final and most fatal mission, Natasha tries to assure Jamie it will be okay as always. Steve survives, and Natasha sadly doesn't make it through. Steve struggles to break the news to their daughter as Natasha and Jamie's last conversation echoes in his head. Jamie blames her father. They have a hard time coping, but Steve gives her all his love, despite having a broken heart.
