Store-bought potting soils are often not made for specific plant needs. If potting soil is used directly to grow any plants, you might end up with rotted roots, weak plants and pest infested plants.

In this video I share how I usually amend my potting soil to make sure that the roots get enough air, essential nutrients and microbes to help it grow healthily and reduce the chances of getting pests.
