Sydney Dance Company - 6 Breaths Animation

I worked with director Tim Richardson to create this piece for the Sydney Dance Company production "6 Breaths"

The animation was projected on a semi transparent material the full height of the stage. The dancers performed behind this material and were lit to seem as though they appeared and disappeared during their performance. The show was amazing and it was great to be able to contribute to such an inspiring piece of art.

I created this using Maya and rendered in 3Delight and Mental Ray. The dancers were 3D laser scanned.
