Medical Device Evaluation: Integrating a Human Factors Approach

The fifth Talk is presented by Ass. Professor Patricia Trbovich and Sonia Pinkney, who are experts in Human Factors Engineering.
With over 15 years of experience, Patricia and Sonia have led numerous successful projects focused on the evaluation and implementation of health technology in operational, research, and private sector environments, including a project focused on mitigating the risks associated with administering multiple IV infusions, which their team was awarded AAMI Patient Safety award. They have also led numerous human factors-related trainings across North America, Brazil and Spain in an attempt to build human factors capacity in our healthcare system.
