🚫🤦‍♀️I am not my hair! School's back in session for many kids across the country. However, for the children that start on Monday like many children in my area, hair is going to be a hot topic. Many schools have policies and procedures on the dress code and African American girl's hairstyles are being questioned: Should parents conform or remove their children from schools that have policies in place that say "no clip ina, extensions, weaves, or braids outside of their natural hair will be allowed?" This happened to @tokyovanity 11 year old neice in Lousiana. She was told that she could not wear box braids to school. This young lady was crying because of this "policy" In Florida, a 6 year old boy was kicked out for wearing locs. Both of these SCHOLARS were enrolled in Private Christian schools so they have rules they can "create" versus public schools where the policies are across the entire district. It's crazy that this has happened. Parents what would you do?
